This three month intensive course is designed for those students who are serious about breaking into acting for TV and Film. You will benefit from a range of training and mentoring opportunities delivered by industry experts from the UK and Bollywood.

The course will deliver in-depth knowledge and training on the NINE KEY AREAS that we believe are key essentials to be developed for any ambitious actor. This course also provides students the opportunity to visit the film sets of Bollywood to gain firsthand experience of how actors and directors interact in the Indian film industry.
Successful completion of this course will also enable you to join the Actor Prepares Talent Company. The Talent Company will enable you to be searched by producers or directors looking for acting talent within their film or advertisement or any other media job specific to your profile globally.
Everyone who graduates will also be presented with a Actor Prepares UK and Europe certificate and will be invited to take part in performances at the end of the course, with family, friends and casting agents in attendance as part of the examination process.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should have ideally completed secondary school education with 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, or equivalent (this requirement maybe waived in exceptional circumstances).
Applicants should be fairly proficient in written and spoken English and/or Hindi. In certain cases language coaching can be arranged for students who are weak in Hindi.
Entry on to this course is strictly subject to the outcome of an audition. Applicants will be required to attend an audition and interview. The assessment process is designed to establish each applicant’s Aptitude, Attitude and Acting Potential.

1. Acting
Introduction to Acting; Improvisations; Studying various scenes; Understanding “Larger than life Acting, Melodrama, Exaggeration & Various genre's of acting; Building up a character & role Analysis in detail; Ensemble Acting – Rehearsals for a Short play; Understanding Modern / Contemporary acting; Preparing for auditions etc and much more.
2. Acting for Camera
Various kinds of shots; Working in single & multiple camera set ups; different types of shots; Acting and analysing the work of self and others; Working on scripts & shooting of Short films; Working on the probable variations of a given Scene, etc.
3. Body Movement
Taking the mark; Re-inventing the body language for the camera; Acting within the given Parameters of the Frame.
4. Stage Combat
Basic stretches; Basic kicks; Round kicks; Flying kicks; Roll in; Falls; Summersaults; flips; Self defence against kicks & blows; Advance stretches.
5. Bollywood Dance
Focus on exercises and Basic dance moves; Dance numbers from films; Classical & Folk dance songs from Hindi Films; Creative dance moves; Film & dance; Character sketch and dance; Music Video Shoot
6. Yoga and Meditation
8-fold path of Astanga Yoga; Bhaava – Attitudes that should accompany the practices; Aahaar, Vihaar, Aachaar, Vichaar (healthy diet, routines, relaxation and positive attitudes); Stress Management – the Yogic philosophy; different techniques of Yoga and meditation.
7. Development of Vocal Skills (including Hindi)
Theory of Communication in context of Television & Films; Intro to Voice, Speech & Diction; Training the voice & working on diction, aspects of Speech; Spontaneity with words & playing with voice; Working on monologues – easy text; Performing a Scene; Approach methodology to higher Level text; Performing Scene having more than one actor.
8. Film Appreciation
